Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can students who do not attend St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) register?
Yes, absolutely! While SEAS students can walk directly to our designated art classroom at the end-of-day bell, students from neighbouring schools are welcome. External students must be dropped off at the designated room entrance by an authorized individual (aged 16 or older) at 3:40 PM.
2. Is this a childcare or after-school care program?
No. Krafts before Dinner is a structured, instructional art studio program focused on technique, skill development, and creative education. It is not a daycare, after-school care, or respite service. Participants must be capable of using facilities independently and following group studio instructions.
3. What happens if my child misses a class due to illness or travel?
Because tuition reserves your child's dedicated spot, and covers studio materials for the session, missed classes cannot be made up, credited, or refunded under any circumstances.
4. What should my child bring to class each week?
-
A nut-free, shellfish-free snack for our 30-minute unwind and inspiration time.
-
A labeled, reusable water bottle.
-
Mess-friendly clothing and non-marking indoor footwear. (All paint supplies are non-toxic, but pigments can stain clothing!)

6. Are bursaries or financial support available?
Yes. We reserve a limited number of full and partial tuition bursaries each session to ensure art stays accessible. Please speak with Kristy about this.
5. What is the policy for late pickups or early pickups?
-
Dismissal is prompt at 6:00 PM at the main front entrance. A 5-minute grace period is provided. Starting at 6:05 PM, a late fee of $1.00 per minute applies to cover required staff supervision time and must be paid via E-Transfer before the next class.
-
Early Pickups: Because Mme KD is actively guiding studio time and no administrative staff monitor the doors, unscheduled early pickups cannot be accommodated.
